The Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Ministry (BBus/BMin) innovatively combines the best of Business and Ministry to meet the vital need of developing and supporting Christian leaders for 21st-century ministry.
The structure of the BBus/BMin program is specifically designed to provide you with foundational theory and skills in both business and Christian studies. It also allows you to develop extended knowledge in two areas of specialization: Business and Ministry. The Business Specialisation offers majors in Leadership & Management and Accounting. The Ministry Specialisation offers majors in Pastoral Ministry, Cross-Cultural Ministry, Leadership & Management, and Worship Ministry.
Aplicants must meet at least two of the entry categories below:
Recent Secondary Education
- Completion of NSW Higher School Certificate with an ATAR of no less than 65, or the completion of the interstate or overseas equivalent qualification and result, or equivalent.
- Completion of a high school diploma with college preparatory classes.
- Minimum age of 18
English Language Proficiency
If your first language is English or if you can provide satisfactory evidence that English was the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies, you may be considered as meeting the requirement of proficiency in English.
If English is not your first language or was not the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language by achieving a prescribed level in an approved English examination or test. Your English language proficiency test must be no more than two years old at the time you commence your studies at AC.
AC accepts the following English language proficiency test:
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
- PTE (Pearson Test of English)
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced)
Students are required to have attained an International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) score or equivalent according to the criterion noted below:
6.5 overall score, a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest
Applicants are encouraged to contact APTS if they are unsure of the equivalence of their English language proficiency test scores.
Computer literacy and internet access
AC students require access to computer and internet facilities, as written assignments are submitted online in typescript with some assignments requiring database and internet research.
